Dean (Speedwell) formed a band called 'Was It A Car Or A Car I Saw' in about 1986 and Hugh (Eddhu Nan) was a key player as was Richard (briefly). In this time of songs about learning and making palindromes and dancing in 5/4 it seemed appropriate to resurrect the wonderful name. We hope that previous members of the band (some who will see their names on the photo on soundcloud) will not mind.
